Facts are birth dates, weddings and deaths where there is a certificate to verify all other things can be rumored. We record our memories with our own vantage point and filters. That is why siblings often have different parents yet the same DNA. We all remember things that we think are important to us and that can be different for different family members. We also bring those same filters when we would review the video of an event recorded. I am including a memory essay and the triggers from my book Remembering…life story triggers and Memory Essays.
