Hella Buchheim started her company Personal Histories to give voice to people who had a story to tell. Personal Histories works with people who want to write their own stories. Too many times families are left with a family history consisting of a genealogical chart, which records births and deaths only but gives no insight to the lives of those family members. Her company’s mission is to help as many people as possible leave an interesting legacy.
Hella Buchheim frequently conducts workshops and writing seminars. She does one-on-one coaching sessions to help people stay motivated throughout the writing process. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of life story writing is contagious at her speaking engagements. Erinnerung, Gedanken, Memories¦Survival of the human spirit her mother’s life story, was her first published book. Hella Buchheim now resides in Hopkins Minnesota. She was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Her parents were living there after surviving the Holocaust in Germany and she then grew up in Cincinnati Ohio. Hella graduated from the Ohio State with a BA in Communications and a minor in Journalism. Over the course of her professional career, Hella has written and produced award-winning television programs and written local television and radio commercials. She had worked selling media over 20 years before going back to her love of writing and starting her company Personal Histories. www.personalhistories101.com
