Broken Your New Year's Resolution to Write Your Life Story Yet?

Winter is a great time to write

You are probably saying to yourself, ” Of course not, not yet. It is only the fourth day of the new year. I am going to really write it all down this year.”

To that I have to say, “Yeah, right.” No I really mean it. Since you are checking out this blog you have made the first step in writing your life story. You are researching the tools that will make it easier and committed. That is very good first step but the next thing is to write. Write often. Write thank you notes. Write to strangers and write to people you have not talked to in a great while. Write Stories. Write a paragraph about something that happened to you today. Write a paragraph about something that happened to you 20 years a go. Have I made my point? Writing is a habit and the more you write the more you will actually site down and write.

Why not write about what you think of Resolutions!

TRIGGERS:

  1. Do you make list and goals?
  2. Are the lists and goals the same each and every year or do the change?
  3. How long before you consider that you have broken a resolution?
  4. Have you every made a dramatic life change from a resolution?
  5. Are you a person that pooh-poohs the whole resolution stuff?
