Let's Start Writing

Scary Crock!

Scary Crock!

Put all your fears away. Do not let self judgement get in the way. No one cares if you can’t spell or if your tense does not match. It is not important if you have dangling participles. Just take pen to paper or fingers to key board. Look at the photo  too the left very carefully. The crock looks very fearful but when you spend time looking at him carefully you will notice he has no teeth. That is the case with most of our fears. Once we look them in the face the are not that bad.

Think about who you are writing your life story for and think about what you want to say to them. So just start writing and remember there will be time to correct all those misspellings and grammar error. I just want you to go thru the idea of putting thought to paper. It is one story at a time. One story after another to write but if you don’t start it may never get done and to me that is even more scary. Genealogy will say when you were born and when you died but not who you were. A legacy starts when you think it is important. So let us start writing.

  • Seems as though a simple word like legacy, my mind would not for the life of me discover that word & allow me to pursue my writings of personal endearments.
My Mother purchased a leather bound journal for me , we spoke of it on several occassions, she said, well you’ll probably not write a word in it until after I have passed on.
No.. I answered a little angered, but the anger was at myself for she turned out to be as right as rain.
So this will be the beginning of my leather-bound book of life&death.. Death being the doorway into life, while life is being the doorway into death. Like were are bourne to die & we are dying to be bourne. Makes a little sense, doesn’t it? Later gators… er crocodiles..
